Conceived, architected, and engineered Scrybasms, a robust, enterprise-grade SMS platform enabling businesses and individuals to send automated, promotional, and informational text messages worldwide. As the sole developer, I managed the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept and design to deployment, launch, and ongoing maintenance. The platform empowers over 22,780 businesses and individuals and has successfully processed and delivered more than 452,800 messages, demonstrating significant organic growth, high availability, and proven market fit.

• Proven Scalability & Reliability: Architected and single-handedly launched a global platform from the ground up, engineering a scalable system that currently serves 22,780+ user accounts. The platform has reliably processed over 452,800+ messages, showcasing robust performance and stability under real-world load.
• Global Reach & Internationalization: Engineered the core infrastructure to integrate with diverse international SMS gateway APIs. This enabled seamless message delivery to any country, successfully establishing a worldwide customer base and proving the system's adaptability in a global market.
• Full Project Ownership & Entrepreneurial Initiative: Demonstrated a unique, end-to-end ability to not only develop complex software but also to manage a live, revenue-generating service. Responsibilities spanned the full spectrum from server administration and user support to strategic feature development and product vision.
• Critical System Modernization: Proactively led and executed a complex migration of the entire platform from the legacy Yii Framework 1 to Yii Framework 2. This critical undertaking significantly enhanced performance, strengthened security protocols, and ensured the long-term maintainability and efficiency of the technology stack.

Technical Architecture & Responsibilities

As the sole engineer, I was responsible for every technical aspect of the platform:

Full-Stack Development:

• Backend: Developed all server-side logic, user authentication systems, secure API endpoints, and message queuing systems using PHP and the Yii Framework. Designed and managed the underlying MySQL database schema to efficiently store user data, message logs, and billing information.
• Frontend: Created an intuitive, responsive user interface using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring a seamless user experience for account management, message composition, contact list uploads, and viewing delivery reports.

System & Database Architecture:

• Designed a scalable architecture capable of handling fluctuating loads of message dispatch and asynchronous delivery status reporting.
• Implemented background jobs and queuing mechanisms to ensure high-throughput message sending without compromising the performance of the user-facing application.

Infrastructure & DevOps:

• Deployed, configured, and managed the application on a Linux server running the Apache Web Server.
• Performed all aspects of server administration, including security hardening, performance monitoring, log management, and routine maintenance to ensure high uptime.
• Utilized Git for version control throughout the entire development lifecycle, establishing a structured workflow for development, testing, and deployment.

Third-Party API Integration:

• Researched, selected, and integrated multiple third-party SMS gateway services.
• Authored an adaptable codebase to handle different API protocols (RESTful, SOAP) and varying response formats, a crucial element that enabled the platform's global reach and delivery redundancy.
